Hello everyone,
I got a Lenovo V330-15IKB Notebook, I want to use it with two external monitors (one on VGA out and one on Mini DP) but I can't do it since X detects them as the same output with the same identifier (DP1).
This prevents me from using both Mini DP and VGA at the same time, with Mini DP out having priority over VGA out (if I plug both monitors the only one that works is the Mini DP one). Of course everything works if I plug my monitors on, for example, VGA out and HDMI out.
Is this a matter of configuration or is it an hardware limitation of my laptop? I'm leaving here my xrandr output, thank you.

This is a hardware limitation, lenovo probably added a DP to VGA converter that connects to the same displayport interface.
By the way, if the mini-dp supports MST, then you could use an MST Hub and connect both monitors to that (maybe with an adapter cable for the VGA one)
