Hello!
I'm really starting getting desperate. I have a GA-Z170X-Gaming G1 MOBO, which has a Creative ZxRi sound chip. I've read that Creative is very Linux-hostile (sigh...).
I've read through this post and compiled a custom kernel with the patch_ca0132.c patch with the following line added to the ca0132_quirks:
ND_PCI_QUIRK(0x1458, 0xA046, "Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming G1", QUIRK_R3DI),I have headphones inserted to the front jack of the MOBO. Back Jack is the same, no audio.
My kernel version (uname -r) is 5.13.2
