[SOLVED] Installing XFCE4 along with KDE Plasma

Hello all,

I have just switched to Arch after using Ubuntu for over 10 years..
Managed to get Arch running with KDE Plasma but I really want to have XFCE4 for customization..

I don't want to get anything broken or reboot and have a black screen for the 4th time smile

Will this be enough?

pacman -S xfce4 xfce-goodies

Is there anything I should pay attention to?
Will this give me the option to choose the Desktop Environment before logging in?

Thanks

Re: [SOLVED] Installing XFCE4 along with KDE Plasma

Thank you!
1. I've read the section you pointed out..
2. Checked that I have the .desktop files in the folders mentioned..
3. Installed:

pacman -S xfce4 xfce4-goodies

4. Checked the folders again and noticed 'xfce.desktop' file created..
5. Logged out of KDE..
6. Noticed a menu at the top left which had XFCE4
7. Logged in using xfce and all is working fine.

Much appreciated! smile
