[Solved] Font cache missing fonts - needs regular update.

I am using a bitmap font under

/usr/share/fonts/misc

as a main system font. Fairly often this font goes missing from

fc-list

and I have to re-run

fc-cache -frv

in order to find it. Any ideas on how I can diagnose this?

While font is present:

~ ❯ fc-list | grep "Tamsyn"
/usr/share/fonts/misc/Tamsyn10x20b.pcf: Misc Tamsyn:style=Bold
/usr/share/fonts/misc/Tamsyn10x20r.pcf: Misc Tamsyn:style=Regular

While font is present:

~ ❯ fc-cache -frv

Re-install tamsyn-font?

Re: [Solved] Font cache missing fonts - needs regular update.

Installing the AUR OTB font seems to have done it, thanks!
