Randomly freezed right after Gnome login

Since about 2 weeks ago, my laptop randomly freezes right after I login into Gnome session and stuck at the workspace overview:

Then I have to long-press the power button to shut down

If I disable some start-up tasks, like unplug external disks, monitors, or turn off some gnome extensions, this problem will be suppressed
I tried several combinations with these tasks enabled or disabled, and it turns out that none of these tasks alone plays a decisive role.

Does anyone have this issue previously? How should I troubleshoot?

Thanks

Re: Randomly freezed right after Gnome login

Nearly exactly the same issue. I can't find a way to troubleshoot that. If you move your mouse for several seconds before and after login, the probability of the freeze will reduce.

This thread is almost a year old, and the OP has not been back since May, so I am going to consider this thread abandoned and close it.
