[SOLVED] RADV/MESA - Vulkan not working anymore

Hello, I did an update then now radv can't find Vulkan drivers.

Everything seems correctly installed :

[perru@archlinux ~]$ ls /usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/
amd_icd32.json  amd_icd64.json  amd_pro_icd32.json  amd_pro_icd64.json  lvp_icd.x86_64.json  radeon_icd.i686.json  radeon_icd.x86_64.json

If you run game with VLK VK_ICD_FILENAMES="/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/amd_pro_icd32.json:/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/amd_pro_icd64.json" or AMDPGU-PRO VK_ICD_FILENAMES="/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/amd_icd32.json:/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/amd_icd64.json" it works but with RADV not VK_ICD_FILENAMES="/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/radeon_icd.i686.json:/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/radeon_icd.x86_64.json".

amdvlk added a new loader logic that breaks the normal vulkan_icd_filenames approach that would be used by mesa if it's installed.

You can export 

AMD_VULKAN_ICD=RADV

or 

DISABLE_LAYER_AMD_SWITCHABLE_GRAPHICS_1=1

the latter would reenable the ICD based loading approach.

I disable the layer atm, i prefer switch manually for specific games.

Great, thanks. This solved it for me too, was wondering why nothing vulkan based worked correctly for the last few days. Apparently because I loaded the wrong way from /etc/environment
