Atheros AR3011 Problems

Ok so i have an atheros ar3011 bluetooth adapter,it seems to be recognized in lsusb but the ath3k driver is having trouble exiting with the error of 

Aug 17 15:07:47 psyche kernel: Bluetooth: Can't change to loading configuration err
Aug 17 15:07:47 psyche kernel: ath3k: probe of 1-1.5:1.0 failed with error -110

this seems to be a reoccuring problem according to https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugrepo … bug=641749 but no solutions are provided,i've tried researching it a bit more and found these posts https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=140468 and https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=126487 which seem similiar,but the hardware is different,so any idea on what is the problem here?
