NCurses 4?

I have a program that cannot find libncurses.so.4 so it will not run.  I tried copying .so.5 to .so.4 but it causes it to segmentation fault.  So I need ncurses v4.  Any idea where I could find it?  Thanks!

Are you trying to build a package and getting a message that libncurses.so.4 can't be found?

I'm trying to run a program that was already compiled for me.  I might try recompiling it, but I'm not sure I have the source.
