arch freezez when trying to run chrome away from router

i just downloaded arch linux with plasma as a desktop environment but when i start chrome away from my router it freeze and i have to forcefully shutdown my laptop but if i do it close to my router it opens just fine.I assume that it is a drivers problem but i have no clue how to update my driver

What do you mean by 'close to my router' ?
Do you mean associated with the router, with an IP address and having internet access?
Do you mean that it is a function of signal strength to the router?
If you are away from the router, are you part of another network?
What software are you using to control your network connection?
Are you using static addresses?
