Alien Arena 2007 on AMD64?

Was just wondering if anyone has tried getting this going.  I tried the PKGBUILD from AUR, but clearly it needs a little work doing before it'll work on 64 and i'm not quite sure how to go about it.

If anyone has got it working, help would be appreciated, thanks.

Re: Alien Arena 2007 on AMD64?

I'm using arch64 on my core2duo.
I used the precompiled binaries and they work.
There was a problem with the installation routine. So I just extracted the files and installed them myself. I remember, that there was a directory called "amd64".

Btw, what is the difference between amd64 and x86_64?
I'm no expert, so I'm just wondering if those binaries won't run on both 64-bit architectures.

x86_64 refers to amd64 and Intel's EM64T. Arch64 will run on both platforms. Anything which says 'amd64' will run for EM64T too.
