I recently had a start up script running but now I want to remove it. I actally removed it from the /.config/plasma-workspace/env
as suggested by Autostart/Kde
I checked it also in system setting and there is nothing to be removed
But this script does not go away. It is always there.
I actually followed through Linux Scoop/Kde
Now can anybody explain me how did this script still manage to run even after I removed from autostart and from the $HOME/.config/plasma-workspace/env
Thank you

What script are you talking about? What does "it's always there" mean exactly? Where? Why do you surmise it's being ran? Where did you place it? Where exactly in that half an hour video is he creating and assigning a script that you can't get rid of?

I am so sorry for not being specific... I really am sorry
The guy kept that script at 18:36 min in the video
He went into autostart application(system settings) and assigned a script that would give him a weather and time....
You will find the script with name conky.zip In This Google Drive
And I was supposed to get rid of the weather and time after I remove the script but that didn't happen
I checked auto start script file as well as mentioned in /.config/plasma-workspace/env as suggested by KDE

So you followed some random youtube install video and now you have no idea how your system is actuallt set up? This is why we don't support those stupid videos. Ask the youtuber for help.

Yeah.....
But my question was why was that script still running even though I had completely removed it from the setting-autostart menu and also from the $HOME/.config/auto-start file
Actually my problem was solved when I deleted the script completely from the computer
Like that script should have stopped when I removed from auto start but that didn't happen and I am questioning it
Its like you removed a wallpaper from setting but still it is not removed from the desktop.... Its kind of I don't know a bug may be......
And thank you so much for warning me about not blindly following someone tutorial on youtube
I actually didn't do that on my main daily driver so I am a little safe

You could check Settings -> Startup and Shutdown -> Desktop Session. It might be set to restore previous saved session.
