GAIM-Start doodling

Hi friends,

I recently upgraded gaim to 2.0 beta and found a new "start doodling" thing in right-click menu when you right click on any yahoo buddy, however, on click "start doodling," nothing happens. Does anyone have any idea about this?

Um, I think you need to stick your hands down your pants in order to start doing that.

[edit] Oh wait, you said doodling.  Never mind. [/edit]

Sweet, now I can play with myself.

I'm glad someone said something, thank you dtw.

Back on topic, I don't use Yahoo often, if ever.  I can't really help you...  have you tried searching the gaim MLs and things like that?

Re: GAIM-Start doodling

have you tried running gaim in a console window? When you try to "doodle" look in the console window for maby an error or such. Another possibility is since its beta the feature is not turned on/not there or possibly along those lines. Just my 2 cents.

Re: GAIM-Start doodling

@dtw: sorry for SHOUTING. I just used that to make make the title stand out of text. However, i will take care of that in my future posts.

As far as start doodling is concerned, i guess it has to do something with doodle imvironment which is often used to detect whether a user is offline or invisible.

Re: GAIM-Start doodling

is it gaim specific? do they need a current gaim?

or if it's something in yahoo, do they have an up to date yahoo messenger?
