Wifi is critically slow | Broadcom wifi[SOLVED]

Hi I had recently downloaded wifi drivers and to be honest I have the worst experience so far...
I can't multi task while I am installing something via command line or even use multiple tabs on firefox
I have following network info:

Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries BCM43227 802.11b/g/n [14e4:4358]
Subsystem: Foxconn International, Inc. Device [105b:e040]
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 17
Memory at c0500000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
Capabilities: <access denied>
Kernel driver in use: wl
Kernel modules: bcma, wl

I have installed

local/b43-firmware-classic 5.100.138-1
Firmware for Broadcom B43 wireless networking chips - trusted release
local/b43-fwcutter 019-3
firmware extractor for the b43 kernel module

and I have no idea if this is a driver problem or I have something left to install to increase the internet connection on my laptop.

And a side info I had problems as well with ethernet connection
While wifi was not working (more info Wifi Not Working) then ethernet was working well
But now wifi is working but ethernet is not.....

Hope I find ways to solve this problem...

The signal is fine but you have frequent CTRL-EVENT-BEACON-LOSS - could be powersaving (powerdevil/tlp…)

Other than that, broadcom is simply and by far the worst wifi chip you can possibly have.

Hi seth,
Can you give me some like where I can learn about CTRL-EVENT-BEACON-LOSS
And in the wiki it was suggested to check if the card is hard-blocked or soft-blocked by kernel.

I looked on internet and It said that hard blocked means that I physically block it... Can you tell me if it is possible to hard block something using command?
Since I don't have any of those switch I think I hope fully would get that soft block removed.....

"man rfkill", but I doubt that's it.

The NIC lost contact to the AP, that's why you get beacon losses, but there's no explanation in the log as to why this might happen (other than broadcom being the worst possible wifi chip…)
