Re: view/edit DWG files ?

I don't have any experience with AutoCAD stuff, but LX-Viewer may be what you want.  It does appear to require some other libraries that are not allowed to be bundled with the software.

Re: view/edit DWG files ?

well actually it seems able to open files up to .dwg version 2002 and many people now use more recent versions of autocad sad
and this openDWG library requires registration to be downloaded (i noticed the open design alliance's website uses ASP - weird enough for a so-called open source promoter...)

Re: view/edit DWG files ?

Ah, sorry about that.  The only reason I even knew it existed was because for some reason it came up in a search I was doing for a program that would save in Visio format.
