I have a Surface Book, which uses snd_hda_intel sound driver. It has an internal stereo microphone, which works well after reboot.
Unfortunately, sometimes after suspend (but not every time), I start hearing white noise on the microphone. I can work around this by remapping to a mono imput as described in the wiki. However, this degrades the recorded audio quality, and I'd much rather figure out a way to prevent the underlying issue instead.
There doesn't seem to be any snd_hda_intel output in journalctl during/after the resume in question.
