[SOLVED] Das Keyboard G4 das-keyboard-q keyboard not found

I just got a fancy Das Keyboard - I'm able to type, use the volume control and sleep buttons with arch.  I connected it to a windows machine (I keep in a closet while it thinks about what its done) and i'm able to install the Q software for programming the board and I updated the firmware.

This AUR https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/das-keyboard-q/  installs nicely on Arch but it always says to plug in the keyboard.  Anyone use this successfully or use a Das Keyboard?
