[Solved] Prevent Topping D10 DAC going to standby mode

I use Topping D10 DAC on my Thinkpad P50.

The DAC goes to standby mode only seconds after sound playback has stopped. This is annoying as it has a noisy output relay that is constantly clicking on and off. I use Deadbeef with direct alsa output and whenever I pause a song the DAC goes to standby immediately. I don't have Pulseaudio installed.

I don't know if this is an Alsa issue or if I have some aggressive USB suspend settings enabled on my Thinkpad.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit:

Figured it out by myself. I have tlp installed and adding USB_AUTOSUSPEND=0 to tlp.conf fixed the issue.
