mate panel workspace switcher : tiny cells

New install up to date : the workspace switcher shows with cells only a few pixels high.

This is a problem on two other installations of Arch Mate which I solved by downgrading mate-panel to 1.24.2-1.

However this solution has not worked with this new installation.

pacman -Q mate-panel
mate-panel 1.24.2-1

I have restarted.
