Laptop keyboard stops working after bluetooth earphones connected

As soon as I connect my bluetooth earphones, keyboard stops working completely (touchpad works fine). Hard reboot remains the only option.
Tried updating the system, using blueman-manager, bluetoothctl, bluedevil (KDE default) but same problem.
