Intel virtual output on Wayland?

Hello!

I have a Asus TUF Gaming laptop (FX505) with dual graphics (Intel and nvidia) and I use a wayland gnome instance. However,when I connect another monitor to the hdmi port,it just doesn't work,and it looks like the hdmi port is connected right into the nvidia gpu.

How can I start a virtual output to use the Intel one on the second monitor?

(I don't need to setup the nvidia graphics because I use prime run command to play games and works fine)

Afaik multi gpu support for actual outputs is not really present for any implementation on wayland and you need to do that on xorg. Prime-run works because you just get a xwayland client that is rendered on the intel gpu, actual cross driver interaction like it's necessary for driving a screen on a completely different output isn't present yet.

Edit: Seeing as this is essentially a cross post of your previous topic, if you want to get xorg started and get a problem there you will want to post logs from that attempt. Did you generate a nvidia config with nvidia-xconfig? Remove whatever configuration that generated and try wihtout explicitly setting anything up.
