how to disable 'ScreenShare' from 'Portal'?
Hi, fresh Archie here!
I use GNOME 40.4
Each time I boot & login, I get a GUI titled as ScreenShare from program Portal, that wants me to select monitor to share with requesting application...the GUI icon is a gear and looks sort of like settings. Under Settings - Sharing, Sharing in general is turned off.
How do I turn that requesting ScreenShare, each time I boot, off?

'Portal' is probably xdg-desktop-portal, the systems mechanism for screensharing. Some application that is started on login is asking your session to share the screen.
Are you by any chance using Steam? Because there is a bug about that.
[edit: If you are running Steam, you can test this by either disabling Steam's automatic startup or logging in, letting the message stay on screen and then closing steam. If it was Steam who requested the share, the dialog will disappear on it's own.]
