Sane Timeout when attempting to scan.

I got a Canon ImageClass D1150/MF6680 Printer/Scanner, and I've been delighted with it's printing, but I haven't been able to scan anything on my Linux machine.

I've tried several GUI programs and the `scanimage` command also.

I've made sure to have the `libsane-pixma` installed and I had no luck with it.

When ever I try to scan something, it supposedly connects to the scanner but, after that, the scanner leaves it hanging.

Does anyone has this kind of problem?, from what I understand this particular scanner is not sported by this lib, but does anyone know if there is actual support for it?

I can share here one attempt where it kept haning

With the d1150, you have to manually recompile the sane backend because it doesn't identify the device correctly. You can mostly follow these instructions: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CompileSaneFromSource. Once you git the backends, edit the imageclass.c file before configuring and switch the USB addresses that end in 2686 and 26fa. I've been dealing with it for years.
