PGP signature fails for several packages

I just got a situation I never seen before.
When I try to install networkmanager, gfvs and several other packages I get errors like

error: polkit: signature from "Jonas Witschel <diabonas@gmx.de>" is unknown trust
:: File /var/cache/pacman/pkg/polkit-0.119-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst is corrupted (invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature)).

It seems like polkit may be corrupted or something along those lines but I cannot re-install polkit.

Any ideas to solve this issue.
BTW this is a brand new install.

Thanks

P.S: I noticed some other users have similar issues but their solutions do not seem to help me.  sad

Re: PGP signature fails for several packages

OK. I found a solution.

pacman -Syy archlinux-keyring

Now it works just fine.

Hope this may help someone.

Re: PGP signature fails for several packages

Please don't use two 'y's to sync your package databases unless you really need to, it is a pointless waste of community resources to download another copy of something which you already have.

Mod note: Moving to NC.
