zfs second native encrypted drive not mounting at boot

I have a zfs native encrypted mirrored / on the first two drives as 'rpool' and a second single zfs native encrypted drive for /home as 'hpool'.
'hpool' gives errors of not mounting and usually drops to Emergency Shell. Then I have to load the key manually and mount manually to continue to boot.
'hpool' has the systemd unit for encryption from the zfs wiki page. I can't find a way to fix this issue and have a boot that doesn't hang or drop to Emergency Shell.
Does anybody have an answer to fix this booting issue with zfs encryption? I would like a clean mount without manual intervention.

The zpool.cache file has both 'rpool' and 'hpool'. Zed's zfs-list.cache has both pools.
I'm not certain as what specifics are necessary to list here to help, please let me know what info may be needed.
