HP Envy 15J, issues with headphone jack

Hi there. It's been a while since I've used Arch on this laptop, but I'm having a problem with the headphone jack. I've followed what's said here about remapping the unconnected pins, but when I do this, mapping 0x0d results in sound coming through both the front speakers and the headphones at the same time once I plug them in (while it deactivates all the rest of the speakers). If I remap the others, it will make no difference to the headphone port, there will just be no sound once I plug something into the jack. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could resolve this? I'm pretty sure it used to work before. Thanks.

EDIT: Auto mute mode in alsamixer will resolve the problem for one plug, then after that it disables itself again automatically and it starts having the same issue where both headphones and the speakers play simultaneously. I have pipewire-pulse instead of pulseaudio if this has anything to do with it.
