Hi,
I'm trying to use a transparent theme with GTK applications in i3wm, but it doesn't seem to work: despite setting GTK theme to the transparent theme and using a compositor, all applications are opaque (exactly like if I had no compositor). The weird thing is the problem doesn't occur in other DE/WMs: I tried on Plasma, GNOME, Sway: the applications looked transparent! I even tried to use picom in plasma to see if the issue is with my compositor: the applications still looked transparent.
Transparency with my terminal (urxvt) and Qt applications works just fine, even in i3.
Is there something to configure in i3 to get gtk applications to look transparent ? Or is it a bug with i3 ?
