I need to install Geant4 [so as to install GATE (opengatecollaboration) later]
I'm pretty sure that this one won't be the only problem I'll run into ![]()
And I don't really know if I've installed CLHEP correctly... but since I'm no linux genius its Trial And Error :?
Anyway, a told Geant4 to use OpenGL as the graphics driver. The next question of the configurator is the following:
OGLHOME/include
OGLHOME/lib
You have selected to use OpenGL driver.
But it was not found in /usr.
Please specify the correct path where OpenGL is installed in your system.I've tried "locate" to find anything like OGLHOME (or anything that has GL inside it) but the paths I gave to the Geant4 configurator werent working
any ideas?
there's no opengl package in packman either ![]()
...when I can't use pacman things start to get ugly ![]()
thanks in advance

Arch normally uses Mesa for opengl drivers.
Try telling Geant4 to use MESAGL .
usr/include/GL/ is the directory where the headers for mesa are located.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

I've tried it, and Geant4 supports MESA... but it didnt work!
I'll give a shot once more though
(of course I have the mesa package installed
)
