[SOLVED] Win + Arch seperate ssds - only one bootloader in firmware

As the title says. Two drives.  Separate installed  each.
Just installed win 10 on an ssd. It wiped out Linux Bootlloader on Motherboard.
Regenerated Linux Bootloader. It wiped out the Windows Bootloader.

I would like to be able to dual boot with the F11 key
How can I add the Win 10 btl to my motherboard without wiping out the linux btl

Motherboard Asrock 970A G3.1

Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: [SOLVED] Win + Arch seperate ssds - only one bootloader in firmware

Thanks for the link, although I am not sure that it was entirely helpful in my case.
If my reading comprehension is correct I see that you cannot chain different types of firmware ie/ MBR vs GPT

In my case both installs are UEFI gpt.
I am not understanding why I cannot get another btl flag into the motherboard firmware to boot the windows efi partition especially since it is on a separate drive.
I have an asus board that has both bootloaders on it ..... so clearly it is possible.

What am I missing here ?
Also after a using a usb iso of win 10 and booting directly in, upon restar there is a win btl entry there. However once I boot into linux that entry disappears.
Very confusing.

So?  In your very next sentence you say this point is not relevant for you.

Less than we are.  You need to describe your system and what you have attempted so far if you want any help.  The steps are laid out clearly in the wiki.  If one of them has failed, you'll need to describe which one.

But you would not have two EFI partitions, you'd have one - and just have an entry for each system in the boot manager.

You mark your threads solved yourself by clicking "edit" on the lower-right corner of your first post.  Then prepend [SOLVED] to the title.
