Hi, first post here. I've been using Arch for the past month and I can't get my head around this backlight keys problem.
My computer is Asus Zenbook UX434DA_UM433DA and I'm using sway.
I recently added binds to sway config file in order to increase brightness using the f4 and f5 keys. Sometimes it works and then it doesn't.
I already tried setting grub boot options like: acpi_osi=; acpi_backlight=vendor, acpi_osi='!Windows2012' but none work.
I had to mask this service in order to stop getting systemctl failed message
systemd-backlight@backligh:acpi_video0.service
