Hi, it seems with the 4.8 (or 4.7) update of gnucash on the community arch repository the application no longer functions as expected.
Some issues include:
- UI is all white now instead of alternating green/lime
- tab close buttons are missing
- last session does not restore
- user settings don't save
I have talked with a dev on IRC (see https://lists.gnucash.org/logs/2021/10/ … T15:52:12) and they think it might be something gsettings/dconf related. After a lot of troubleshooting we have not found the issue, however when building it from source (I used cmake with ninja) it works without problems like the 4.6 version which I previously used which worked.
Do any of you have similar issues since upgrading gnucash to 4.7 or 4.8? (the 4.8 release was just a linux hot fix for migration crashes) They changed dconf namespace from org.gnucash to org.gnucash.GnuCash and run migration from the previous namespace to the new one, so maybe some files are missing here or is this something I need to fix as user?
Environment: i3wm with some basic gnome tools installed (no full GNOME install)
