Hi all,
I have been having a daily display freeze on my desktop with arch linux. I say display as I can ssh the machine, but anything that is related with the display is frozen. Even key combinations such as Ctrl + Alt + Fx don't have any effect. killing with -9 the Xorg process makes the screen go dark for a while and then after some time (seems minutes) the lightDM suddenly pops up and I can login and ctrl+alt+Fx are functional again etc.
I can't relate this to anything and am not being able to troubleshoot so any help will be welcome.
I have a NVIDIA graphic card and I'm using the nvidia official pacman drivers.
journalctl doesn't logs anything at the time of the freeze and to be honest I don't know where to look next. I've had a look at as https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Genera … ng_freezes is pretty much limited to that.
Many thanks for everyone's support

Please post your xorg log from while the output is frozen, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#General
And also the system journal "sudo journactl -b" after lightdm showed up again (sudo is important here, you're not gonna find anything in the session journal)
