Heroes of Might And Magic 5 in Wine

Can you play Heroes of Might And Magic 5 in Wine (not Cedega)?
Someone said he can (in the Wine thread).
I was trying with wine 0.9.25 and 0.9.24, but failed.
There is a long thread on winehq.com about this game, and it works for some people, while it doesn't for others.
I wonder what are your experiences - what did you do to run homam5 in Wine under Arch Linux?

Yes, I ran it on Wine 0.9.22 and 0.9.23, but I haven't seen new versions of wine.
Nothing to do except little configuration, I'll describe it soon (now I have no wine

Yes:

If the package is not located there, you will need to compile the older version yourself.

My question was where to find package. I want to have URL so I could download it. I know that I can search for older version in repository (and it is not there) and I know that I can compile it myself (but I don't want to).

I have a vague memory that the dutch nluug mirror (or whatever it was called) used to keep old packages. Try it out (the mirror address is probably found in the archlinux mirror list).

We were able to start it in Wine, but wasn't very playable because speed.

Now from wine 0.9.36 it works great on my Dell 9400, without any pain.
