[Solved] Cannot boot with linux-zen kernel

Hi,

I am having issues booting with the zen kernel, I have tried regenerating the initramfs and noset.

This is the message I'm faced with:

The kernel is running because when I press the power button and the system turns off fine. What am I doing wrong?

Can you switch to tty2? It looks like the DM just isn't starting, I would guess vid driver issues.

Yeah tty2 works. What could I be doing wrong? I'm using nvidia drivers.

You probably didn't install the nvidia drivers for your new kernel, then. See the nvidia wiki page.

Ah, makes sense, you still need the base nvidia package right?

EDIT: installed DKMS for nvidia and my wifi driver and everything seems perfect! thanks!
