I noticed it after not using my Wacom tablet for a while (IIRC 2 months ago). I already have installed the libwacom and xf86-input-wacom installed in my computer for a while now, and never had problems since the installation. I have a Wacom Intuos CTL-4100, and it just worked flawlessly; no changes to USB ports, MOBO, or bought/installed any kind of hardware for the last 6 months.
When I connected the tablet USB in my front ports (USB 2.0), the devices connected in the ports of the same type (e.g. the back ports) just stopped working altogether; replugging them again in the same port did not work. Restarted the computer and checked dmesg, which gave me this particular info (posting entire output at the end of the post):

I tried plugging a cellphone and a pendrive in the same slot in which the tablet was connected, and the event didn't happen again. I also tried plugging Wacom in other USB slots, including 3.0, and the effect repeated itself.
As per the Arch Wiki, I installed the upd72020x-fw package due to the warning messages during mkinitcpio; restarted the computer, but to no avail. In the comment section there, I found out I have the specified Renesas software (see lsmod below).
I'm a bit at loss, because I haven't found relevant information while searching for this particular combination of issues (xhcd_hcd and Wacom tablets), so I decided to post it here. Thanks so much in advance for helping.
