Re: Grub in Arch64

I was just having this problem last night. I got a new motherboard and installed 4GBs of RAM. I tried to rebuild my system using the Arch64 Base ISO, and it wouldn't install; It kept failing with that particular error message. I started over with the FTP installer and it worked perfectly. This is one major argument for releasing Arch 0.8 as soon as possible.

Re: Grub in Arch64

A fixed grub package is available in current repo. It will hit the next iso release. We will see if that will be an official one or an unofficial.

For now use the ftp installer to get the fixed package when installing or use lilo and switch later to grub.
