Hal Security?

Hi,

I have got the hal daemon running with gnome-volume-manager, however I cannot mount and have access to my devices.  When i insert a device, it comes up with 'Unable to mount' and then a message about /media/.hal-d or something.  I haven't configured any fdi files, but i have added my user to root, hal and usb.  I have added my user to the security policy in hal (i think it is hal.cfg or hal.conf?)  What is wrong?

Hi Meo,
try to add your user to storage group:

gpasswd -a <yourusername> storage

You need to logout and login again
