How to create a Virtual Monitor

Hi Arch Community ,
I hope i can ask this question here , i want to create a Virtual Monitor on arch linux running plasma. If i do this i can use Deskcreen application to share the newly created Virtual Monitor to my second laptop so that i can use it as a extended monitor. But i don't know how to do that. First time when i did this i end up on breaking the system after i did something on /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d . Can anyone share the step by step process to add a virtual monitor . I don't want to break by system again .
