[SOLVED] Alsa + jackd, problems using "normal" output from any program

Another auto-solved issue. The card needs 16 bit sampling, Jack default is 24 bit. Find the option and record a new .jackdrc file. Now all works well.

Hi,

I'm an amateur musician, so I'm trying to configure well Arch with ALSA + Jackd. But I have this problem:

Alsa and Jack seems work ok together (I've followed the respective tutorial on Arch wiki, no errors on jackd -d alsa, speaker-test works well), but when I try to reproduce some music from, for example, YouTube, I need to set the volume (inside YouTube) almost at minimum. If I raise a only a bit the volume, the music is covered with pink noise.

What is happening?
