USB keyboard not recognized in grub

My keyboard will be inaccessible in grub boot menu on many of the USB ports.
I found only 2 USB ports where grub will actually "recognize" the keyboard.
Is this something that can be fixed somehow by the user?

Re: USB keyboard not recognized in grub

Which USBs are initialized at boot during GRUB is up to your MB implementation. Check your mainboard settings, usually it has some knobs to enable more/all USB ports, you'll potentially need to disable a configured fastboot or so.

Re: USB keyboard not recognized in grub

Hm thanks. In the bios I set all usb to "enabled" and I disabled "fast boot" and "secure boot" and I enabled "usb legacy mode" but it's still not working. neutral
