Hello. I was wondering if there was anything I could do about making the video captured from my webcam brighter. It's waaay too dark now.

I know I'm not using the IR camera because when I turn that on I see a gray image and red lights around my webcam start blinking.
I tried installing https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/v4l2ucp/ to adjust the image, but all the tweaks I tried just made the image worse.
Do I have buggy hardware? Is the hardware not well supported?
