[SOLVED] rEFInd Boot Manager "device not found"

Hi all,

I tried a fresh install but replaced GRUB with rEFInd. I'm getting the "device ... not found" error on boot:

I've found a lot of other posts with similar issues, but nothing seems to work.

Here's some output of my install's configuration. I apologize for the potato quality.

Any guidance on how to debug this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Check the kernel version on the ESP with the 'file' command and confirm that it matches /lib/modules/.

And please replace the over-sized images with thumbnail links or plain URLs, as per the forum guidelines.

The versions didn't match, and I was able to move forward by updating the kernel.
