Immitate a Chrome OS Layout for first time Arch Install

Hi All

I'm going to install Arch and would like to see if any recommendations could be made to help make the DE look as similar to Chrome OS's layout as possible.

I like the solid bar at the bottom with a collection of favourite apps in the middle, launcher icon far left, time and sys tray far right, top of display is reserved for application title/function bars.

And which icon pack would you recommend?

Chromixium apparently uses openbox, lxpanel & plank dock so try those and steal the configs from a live image.
