E17 configuration help needed for UK keyboard [RESOLVED]

I downloaded and installed reverie's packages for Enlightenment DR17 at  http://ftp.takhis.net/arch (ie. 'pacman -Sy e17-cvs efl-cvs e17-extra-cvs').

Thanks for taking the time and effort to make the packages available reverie smile

I've been exploring E17 for about the past 2-3 days now and IT ROCKS!

However, I've noticed that its default keyboard layout is US (Shift+2 gives @ instead of ").  I tried Configuration > Configuration Panel > Language Settings but I could see no other options (in fact the list was completely blank).  I presume this is where I set the keyboard.

Please could someone tell me how I can get my E17 install configured for my UK keyboard?

US is simply the default layout for X.org, you need to add

Option "XkbLayout" "uk"

to the InputDevice section for your keyboard in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.

I'm not sitting in front of an E desk right now, but if I recall there was also a keyboard switching module? (enable under modules then add to a shelf (hit shelves//configure shelf contents)). Dunno if it works though, or, well, if it's there at all wink So... go the xorg route...

Oh, and thx mon smile

No, thank you!  I fixed my /etc/X11/xorg.conf and it's working smile
