Usb wifi dongle issue

Trying to install arch, got a tp link wn725n usb wifi dongle.

wlan0 interface is listed in 'ip link', also networks are scanned via 'iwlist scan', but iwctl has no devices. I tried disabling iwd service and starting wpa_supplicant but that also produces some errors. Any ideas or tips what to do?

Re: Usb wifi dongle issue

What are "some errors"? Which actual chipset/driver is this? Presumably something realtek and there it's very likely you need to use wpa_supplicant and the wext backend: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Wpa_su … e_hardware
