Sixel is a graphics format for displaying images in the terminal. libsixel has a list of supported terminals here. How do I check what type of terminal my Linux TTY is, and whether it's supported by Sixel? or does Sixel just not support TTYs? Sorry if this seems to be a stupid question, but I have not been able to find any information related to this.

The stock console in Arch uses agetty(8). I've just tried using img2sixel(1) from there and it doesn't seem to work.
