[solved] ublock-origin / firefox-ublock-origin

Hi

I fail to understand the difference between the packages ublock-origin and firefox-ublock-origin. There's only a git package in the AUR for chromium.

The ublock-origin package seems to install its files to /usr/lib according to package contents, does that mean it works across all browsers ? I don't see how that's possible.

Thanks !

Re: [solved] ublock-origin / firefox-ublock-origin

ublock-origin is for chrome/chromium based browsers (which includes many more than just chrome, e.g. opera or brave or vivaldi...) and firefox-ublock-origin is for firefox.

OK thanks ! didn't know I had to manually point chromium to the install folder, but indeed it now works.

for reference, in chromium, type chrome://extensions and add /var/lib/ublock-origin (or other) from there.

thanks!
