Timeshift not finding any partitions, and issues with hibernation

I've never used timeshift before, and I'm trying to back my system up using it

But when it comes to select the partition to back up on, it doesn't seem to find any (screenshot)..

In case it wasn't obvious by the labels, /dev/nvme0n1p2 is my root partition, /dev/nvme0n1p2 is the EFI partition, /dev/sda1 is the swap and /dev/sda2 is the partition I am trying to create backups on

sudo timeshift --list

E: ts: Failed to get partition list.
Device : Not Selected

No snapshots found

In case anybody knows how to help me, I would really appreciate it
