s2 sleep power drain and can't get into s3 or hibernate

Machine: xps 15 9510
GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050

I have spent a significant amount of time trying to get the machine to get into s3 sleep, but it seems impossible. The fact that windows users haven't been able to get it to work as well suggests that it is a limitation of the laptop itself. Dell sucks. If anyone has any ideas, please post them, but I have pretty much given up on s3 at this point.
I would settle for getting it to hibernate, but I can't get that to work either. Seems like the same story as s3. My swap partition is plenty big enough. If anyone has some insight into this, please let me know.
Lots of info into s3 and hibernate here.

My main goal from this forum post is to get s2 sleep to stop draining so much power. In about one hour it drained from 59 to 55 and overnight it went from 100 to about 65. This is unacceptable. I figured that this was because the GPU was still running hot, but I disabled it and am still getting the same stats. What are some steps I can take to get the machine to not lose any (or at least a nominal amount) of charge while in s2 sleep?

I have had the xps 9380 (the 2019 model, I think) and I only have it set to get into s2 sleep. I can leave it closed for a week and it'll maybe drop 1 or 2%. This would be optimal.

Someone in the thread I linked above reported that they have an xps 15 9500 that loses practically 0 charge while in s2 sleep, so I believe this can be done with some tweaking because the 9500 and 9510 are pretty much identical. They appear to have the same problems with s3 and hibernate.

Any ideas?
