os-prober not detecting other operating systems

Hey, I've come to the Arch forums as my last resort, as I feel like I've checked everywhere else that I could think of. I'm having an issue where `os-prober` doesn't give any output when I run it, and I can't seem to figure out why. This particular Arch installation is brand new; just did it today. Here's some information:

Re: os-prober not detecting other operating systems

Did you try to uncomment os-prober in grub, save and run it again?

Re: os-prober not detecting other operating systems

Make sure the relevant partitions are mounted when os-prober is run so that it can find the kernel & initramfs images.

Probably off-topic but why do you have the legacy_boot "flag" applied to your ESP? Remove it with

# parted /dev/sda set 1 legacy_boot off

Re: os-prober not detecting other operating systems

I tried removing the boot flag as you suggested, and that didn't fix the issue, even after rebooting. Not sure why that flag was enabled.

Mounting all of the relevant partitons and the running os-prober seem to have fixed the issue, but I've never had to do that before which is strange. Must've been somehow mounting stuff on its own. Thanks for your help.
