Hotkeys not working on lenovo IdeaPad 3

I use arch on Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15IIL05 laptop. The brightness control button, Airplane mode button and microphone mute button on my keyboard hotkeys are not working on arch. I tried "acpi_listen" and "xev"  to see if the buttons are giving any inputs to the system or not but there were no results. What should I do to enable those hotkeys ??

It may have something to do with /etc/default/grub file as i previously changed it to get my elan touchpad working

Do they show up in "libinput debug-events"? (If they're grabbed as global shortcuts, xev will only show you a focus change, but not the key event)

No they did not
